Nepal Ceramics

I spent this November hiking the AnnaPurna Circuit and checking out the ceramics in Nepal.

Here are some scenes from Bhaktapur and Thimi, cities just outside of Kathmandu, within the heart of Nepali ceramics.

Many wheels are made out of tires, a variation on the stone or wooden wheel. Electric wheels are used as well.
