Nepal Ceramics

I spent this November hiking the AnnaPurna Circuit and checking out the ceramics in Nepal.

Here are some scenes from Bhaktapur and Thimi, cities just outside of Kathmandu, within the heart of Nepali ceramics.

The pug mill, used to turn the clay into the right consitency for throwing, replaces an older method of working the clay with the feet.
